They don't change shape easily like liquids or gases. 🧱 Shape: Solids keep their shape, whether you put them in a box or on a table. 📏 Size: Solids also keep their size. A toy block will always be the same size unless you break it! 🧸 Examples: Think of a toy, a book, a rock, or even the food on your plate! Most of the things you can touch and hold firmly are solids. 🌡️ Heating and Cooling: Sometimes, if you heat a solid enough (like ice), it can change into a liquid (water).
