📖 Understanding Character Traits & Comparisons
When we read stories, we meet different people or animals called characters. Just like real people, characters have special ways they act, think, and feel. These special ways are called character traits. For example, a character might be brave, kind, shy, or curious! When we compare character traits, we look at two or more characters and find out how they are the same (similar) and how they are different from each other. This helps us understand the story and the characters much better!
To compare characters, we pay close attention to what they say, what they do, and what others say about them in the story. Then, we can put their traits side-by-side to see what makes each character unique and what they might have in common. It's like being a detective and looking for clues! 🕵️♀️
