π Welcome, Opinion Detectives!
Hello young learners! π Today we're going to become detectives and learn how to spot opinion sentences. An opinion is what someone thinks or feels about something. It's not always true for everyone, and different people can have different opinions. For example, 'Pizza is the best food!' is an opinion because someone else might think tacos are better!
Facts, on the other hand, are things that are true and can be proven. 'The sky is blue' is usually a fact. When you read a sentence, ask yourself: 'Can everyone agree with this, or is it just what one person believes?' If it's what someone believes, it's probably an opinion!
