๐ Topic Summary
Describing a setting means using words to help your reader imagine a place. We can use our five senses โ sight, sound, smell, taste, and touch โ to make the setting come alive! For example, instead of just saying "the forest," we can say "the forest was filled with tall, green trees (sight), the sound of birds chirping (sound), and the earthy smell of damp leaves (smell)." This gives the reader a much better picture of the forest!
