๐ Topic Summary
Retelling a story means you tell it again in your own words. When we retell, we want to share the most important parts: who the story is about, where it takes place, what happens first, next, and last. Using new vocabulary when we retell makes our stories even more interesting and helps us understand the story better!
For example, instead of saying 'the dog was big,' we could say 'the dog was enormous.' See? More interesting!
