This lesson plan is designed to help Grade 1 students identify and understand feelings both in literary characters and within themselves. It aims to enhance emotional literacy and reading comprehension.

Main Instruction
Part 1: Reading and Identifying Emotions (20 mins)
- π Read aloud a picture book with clear emotional expressions.
- β Pause at key moments and ask: "How do you think the character is feeling right now? Why do you think they feel that way?"
- π Use emotion cards to help students identify and name the emotions.

Part 2: Connecting Emotions to Personal Experiences (15 mins)
