A rhombus is a quadrilateral (a four-sided figure) where all four sides are of equal length. Think of it as a diamond shape! It's a special type of parallelogram where, in addition to having opposite sides parallel, all sides are congruent.
A parallelogram is also a quadrilateral, but its defining characteristic is that its opposite sides are parallel and equal in length. The angles opposite each other are also equal.
A square is a special type of rectangle (and therefore also a parallelogram) where all four sides are equal in length and all four angles are right angles (90 degrees). It's the most symmetrical of these shapes!
