π What Counts as a Story?
A story is a way to share ideas, events, or even silly thoughts! It usually has characters, a setting, and something that happens (the plot). Here's a quick guide:
- πββοΈ Characters: Who is in the story? (People, animals, or even objects!)
- πΊοΈ Setting: Where and when does the story take place? (A school, a park, yesterday, or long ago!)
- π’ Plot: What happens in the story? (A problem, an adventure, or a funny event!)
- π Beginning, Middle, and End: Stories usually have these parts to help us understand what's going on.
- π¬ Dialogue: Sometimes characters talk to each other. These are the words they say!
