- ✨Rule 1: Keep it Short. Start with just a few lines. Four to six lines is a great way to begin.
- 🗣️Rule 2: Use Simple Words. Don't try to use big, fancy words you don't understand. Simple words can be very powerful.
- 💭Rule 3: Write About What You Know. Write about things you see, feel, and experience every day.
- 🎶Rule 4: Think About Sound. Do some of your words rhyme? Do they create a rhythm when you read them aloud?
- 🌈Rule 5: Have Fun! The most important rule is to enjoy the process of writing your poem. There are no wrong answers!
📝 Example Poem:

Jumps and plays all day,
With playful paws,
Chasing butterflies away.
