📚 The Aesir Pantheon: An Overview
The Aesir are one of the two main tribes of gods in Norse mythology, residing in Asgard. They are primarily associated with war, wisdom, power, and magic, and are often depicted as the protectors of humanity and the cosmos. Unlike the Vanir, who are more linked to fertility and nature, the Aesir embody authority and martial prowess.

- 👑 Odin: The Allfather, king of the Aesir. He is the god of wisdom, war, death, poetry, and magic. Odin is famously depicted as having sacrificed an eye for knowledge and is often accompanied by his ravens, Huginn (thought) and Muninn (memory), and his wolves, Geri and Freki.
- 🛡️ Thor: The mighty god of thunder, lightning, storms, strength, and the protection of mankind. He wields the powerful hammer Mjolnir and rides a chariot pulled by two goats, Tanngrisnir and Tanngnjostr. Thor is a fierce warrior and a constant foe of the giants.
- 🌸 Frigg: The queen of the Aesir, Odin's wife. She is the goddess of foresight, marriage, motherhood, and domestic arts. Frigg is known for her wisdom and her ability to see the future, though she rarely reveals it.
